In reading the messages, read 'Volume 1' or 'My Angel Daniel' first then follow the books in order so that you become immersed in God's Love for you. You will understand when reading from the beginning that God is calling you to an intimate relationship with Him.
By reading the messages one gets to understand much more the Scriptures. I have heard this from many people and even from the clergy. By reading the messages from the start progressively till the end, they draw you to understand better the Scriptures which, by the way, one should read daily. By reading the messages, you grow spiritually and your love for God augments.
Jesus asked me to tell you to always take my name, Vassula, out of the messages and replace it with your name. You will hear Him then speaking to you, re-animating your soul to move, aspire and breathe in His Glory. God will draw you very delicately into His Heart so that you no longer belong to yourself but to the One who moves you in union with Their Oneness (The Holy Trinity)

Sentences begin with lower case letters except where the words refer to God or to St Mary (Our Lady) or where occasionally they have been used for emphasis. Vassula says: "I never understood why the text was punctuated in this manner until one day some priest told me that the Old Testament was written in the same style in Hebrew." The Publishers have striven to replicate the hand-written messages in this type-scripted version, leaving spelling mistakes as they appear in the original (The reader is referred to the messages of 7.11.1989 and 25.2.1991).
