Λίβανος - Συρία, 27 Απρίλιος – 3 Μαΐου 2010

Ένα θερμό καλωσόρισμα από την Ανατολή.

Τρίτη 27 Aπριλίου. Πήραμε τη Βασούλα από το αεροδρόμιο της Βηρυτού νωρίς το απόγευμα. Το ταξίδι της ήταν σύντομο από την Αθήνα, αλλά ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος Ιερεμίας Φέρενς, ο οποίος τη συνόδευε, είχε ταξιδέψει 26 ολόκληρες ώρες, αφού ερχόταν από τη Βραζιλία! Πήγαμε αμέσως στη Στέγη Saint Michel in Sheileh όπου θα έμενε η ομάδα μας για κάποιο χρονικό διάστημα. Η Βασούλα και ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος συνοδεύονταν από ομάδα δώδεκα ατόμων οι οποίοι είχαν έρθει από τη Γαλλία και την Ελβετία, και τους οργανωτές από το Λίβανο. Ο Μητροπολίτης Georges Haddad από την Καθολική Εκκλησία των Μελχιτών θα δειπνούσε μαζί μας – γνωρίζει καλά τη Βασούλα και ήταν μαζί μας στο τελευταίο προσκύνημα στην Ελλάδα. Ο Μητροπολίτης υποδέχθηκε με ενθουσιασμό τη Βασούλα μόλις έφτασε στο Λίβανο επειδή θα επισκεπτόταν το σπίτι του μερικές μέρες αργότερα, για να δώσει τη μαρτυρία της. Καθώς τελειώναμε το γεύμα μας, η ιδρύτρια της Στέγης Saint Michel, κα. Marie Bassil, μας παρουσίασε στα παιδιά που διέμεναν εκεί εξαιτίας κοινωνικών προβλημάτων. Τα παιδιά έμειναν έκπληκτα όταν η Βασούλα μίλησε για λίγο στο καθένα, στα αραβικά.

Στο τέλος του φαγητού ο ιδρυτής της Στέγης Saint Michel, η κα Marie Bassil, μας σύστησε στα παιδιά που διέμεναν εκεί εξαιτίας κοινωνικών προβλημάτων. Τα παιδιά ξαφνιάστηκαν όταν η Βασούλα μίλησε σύντομα στο καθένα, στα Αραβικά.

Ένα δείπνο είχε κανονιστεί για εκείνη τη βραδιά με τον σεβασμιότατο Georges Khodor, τον Oρθόδοξο Μητροπολίτη του Όρους Λιβάνου, του Jbeil και του Batroun. Η Βασούλα είχε ήδη συναντήσει τον Μητροπολίτη πριν μερικά χρόνια, αλλά αυτή τη φορά έκανε μια πλήρη παρουσίαση της Αληθινής εν Θεώ Ζωής, μιλώντας για τις επείγουσες επιθυμίες του Χριστού με κύρος, και τονίζοντας ιδιαίτερα τη σημασία της ενοποίησης των ημερομηνιών του Πάσχα. Ύστερα ο Μητροπολίτης ρώτησε τους παρευρισκόμενους ανθρώπους της ΑΕΘΖ, πώς είχαν αρχίσει να διαβάζουν το μήνυμα.

Η δύναμη του Αγίου Πνεύματος και ένα νέο Beth Myriam

Τετάρτη 28 Aπριλίου. Έπρεπε να φύγουμε νωρίς το πρωί για να φτάσουμε στην πρώτη ομιλία που θα γινόταν στο Homs της Συρίας. Περάσαμε μεσα από την Τρίπολη όπου σταματήσαμε για να επισκεφθούμε τον Αρχιμανδρίτη Jean Batch, ο οποίος είναι υφιστάμενος του Ελληνορθόδοξου Αρχιεπίσκοπου Μακαριώτατου Ephram Keriakos. Κατά την διάρκεια αυτού του θερμού καλωσορίσματος, η Βασούλα προσέφερε στον αρχιμανδρίτη την ανθολογία των μηνυμάτων που αφορούσαν στην Ενότητα. Αργότερα εκείνος μας είπε μια ιστορία για δύο λαούς οι οποίοι ζούσαν στις απέναντι όχθες του ποταμού. Ο καθένας είχε κτίσει πανέμορφα κτίρια στην πλευρά του, αλλά ήταν λυπημένοι επειδή δεν μπορούσαν να μιλήσουν μεταξύ τους αφού τους χώριζε το ποτάμι. Έτσι άρχισαν να φτιάχνουν μια γέφυρα, ο καθένας από την πλευρά του. Πόσο έκπληκτοι ήταν όταν οι κατασκευές τους συναντήθηκαν, γιατί με χαρα συνειδητοποίησαν πως μιλούσαν την ίδια γλώσσα. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι αν ο καθένας κρατάει την θέση του τίποτε δεν αλλάζει, αλλά αν βάλουμε τον Θεό και τα δικά Του συμφέροντα πρώτα, θα μάθουμε να δουλεύουμε για την ενότητα χαμηλώνοντας το εγώ μας. Μαζί με την Βασούλα, όλοι αναγνωρίσαμε το σημείο μέσα στα μηνύματα που αναφέρει ακριβώς αυτή την γέφυρα, η οποία θα είναι το νέο Όνομα του Κυρίου, το οποίο θα ενώσει Ανατολή και Δύση. Και μείναμε έκπληκτοι ακόμα περισσότερο που ο Αρχιμανδρίτης δεν γνώριζε τα Μηνύματα! Η Βασούλα άνοιξε το βιβλίο για να του δείξει το όραμα που είχε λάβει.

«Είμαι έτοιμος να απλώσω το Χέρι Μου και θα χαράξω πάνω σε ένα ραβδί αυτά τα λόγια: "Δυτική όχθη, Οίκος Του Πέτρου και όλων αυτών που του είναι πιστοί." Ύστερα, πάνω σε ένα άλλο ραβδί θα χαράξω: "Ανατολική όχθη, Οίκος του Παύλου μαζί με όλους αυτούς που του είναι πιστοί." Και όταν τα μέλη των δύο Οίκων θα πουν:"Κύριε, πες μας τώρα τι σκοπεύεις", θα τους πω: "Θα πάρω το ραβδί πάνω στο οποίο χάραξα το όνομα του Παύλου και όλων αυτών που του είναι πιστοί και θα το δέσω μαζί με το ραβδί του Πέτρου και των δικών του πιστών, ώστε να γίνει ένα. Με τα δυο αυτά ραβδιά θα φτιάξω ένα και θα τα κρατήσω μέσα στο Χέρι Μου σαν ένα. Θα τα συνδέσω με το Νέο Μου Όνομα. Αυτό θα είναι η γέφυρα ανάμεσα στη Δύση και την Ανατολή. Το Άγιο Μου Όνομα θα συνδέσει τη γέφυρα, για να ανταλλάσσετε τους θησαυρούς σας διαμέσου αυτής της γέφυρας. Δεν θα ασκούν πια τα καθήκοντά τους μεμονωμένα, αλλά από κοινού, και θα βασιλεύσω πάνω σε όλους τους." ( 24 Οκτωβρίου, 1994 )

Συνεχίσαμε το ταξίδι μας στη Homs, φέρνοντας τον Αρχιμανδρίτη Ibrahim Sarrouj στην παρέα μας, ο οποίος θα μετέφραζε την μαρτυρία της Βασούλας από τα Αγγλικά στα Αραβικά. Φτάσαμε στη Homs για το γεύμα, στο τέλος του οποίου ο μακαριότατος Isidore Battikha ήρθε κοντά μας μαζί με τον αδελφό του Αρχιμανδρίτη Elias Battikha και τον εφημέριο Αρχιμανδρίτη Bernard Mansour.

Ο Mgr Battikha εκτιμά πολύ την Βασούλα και αυτούς που πιστεύουν το μήνυμα της Αληθινής εν Θεώ Ζωής, ύστερα από τη συμμετοχή του στο τελευταίο προσκήνυμα. Γι’ αυτό το λόγο ταξίδεψε όλο το δρόμο από το Alep για να μας υποδεχθεί στη Συρία. Όλοι χαρήκαμε για την ζεστή του υποδοχή, η οποία ήταν γενναιόδωρη και ειλικρινής, στο πνεύμα του Χριστού.

Το απόγευμα, ο Mgr Battikha μας οδήγησε στο μοναστήρι του προφήτη Ηλία το οποίο είναι κάτω από την εποπτεία του. Το ιερό που προστατεύει την θαυματουργή εικόνα του προφήτη Ηλία βρίσκεται στο κέντρο ενός επιβλητικού συγκροτήματος τέλεια διατηρημένων καινούργιων, προφανώς, κτιρίων. Αυτό το συγκρότημα στεγάζει οικογένειες που έρχονται για retreats, ενώ ακόμα στεγάζει ένα ορφανοτροφείο και ένα πολυιατρείο.

Ο Αρχιμανδρίτης Ibrahim Ghadir, ο οποίος είναι υπεύθυνος του μοναστηριού μας έδειξε την εικόνα και εξήγησε την ιστορία της: τον 5ο αιώνα η τοποθεσία ήταν ένα στρατόπεδο, και το μικρό κτίριο στη μέση ήδη είχε μέσα μια εικόνα του Αγίου. Η περιοχή ήταν στην κυριαρχία ενός Τούρκου με το όνομα Agha. Ο γιoς του κυβερνήτη προσπάθησε να καταστρέψει την εικόνα, χαλώντας τα μάτια με την άκρη ενός μαχαιριού, και τότε ξαφνικά χάνει το φως του. Ο κυβερνήτης ειδοποιήθηκε επειγόντως από τους άνδρες του, και έτρεξε στην εικόνα μαζί με τον γιο του. Υποσχέθηκε στον Άγιο Ηλία να του δώσει τη γη που περιέβαλλε το μικρό κτίριο «όσο μπορούσε ένα άλογο να περικυκλώσει μέσα σε μια μέρα», αν γιάτρευε το γιό του. Και οι δυο πέρασαν τη νύχτα στη βάση της εικόνας και το πρωί ο νέος είδε το φως: είχε ξαναβρεί την όραση του.

Ύστερα από λίγο χρόνο προσευχής, ο Αρχιμανδρίτης Ibrahim μας πήγε να επισκεφθούμε το ιατρικό κέντρο. Μας εξήγησε ότι το κέντρο προσφέρει δωρεάν νοσηλεία, με ιατρικά συμβούλια μια φορά την εβδομάδα και διανομή φαρμάκων, ιδιαίτερα για στεφανιαίες ασθένειες.

Η Βασούλα έδωσε στον Αρχιμανδρίτη Ibrahim Ghadir το βιβλίο με τα μηνύματα της Ενότητας.

Επίσης, μας εξήγησε ότι διανέμεται φαγητό σε σπίτια 200 οικογενειών περίπου, επειδή η περηφάνια των ντόπιων δεν θα τους άφηνε να ζητιανέψουν ή να τους δουν να λαμβάνουν ελεημοσύνη από κάποιον έξω από την οικογένεια τους. Μας έδειξε με λεπτομέρειες πώς δουλευει το σύστημα αυτό με κυκλικό τρόπο και όλα τα «κόλπα» που πρέπει να χρησιμοποιούν ώστε να μην τους δουν να αφήνουν το φαγητό. Το κάνουν αυτό 3 φορές την εβδομάδα.

Η Βασούλα ρώτησε γιατί δεν το κάνει κάθε μέρα, και ο ιερέας απάντησε πως δεν διαθέτει τα οικονομικά μέσα. Αφού άκουσε τις ανάγκες του ορφανοτροφείου και για τη διανομή τροφής, η Βασούλα προσφέρθηκε να ανοίξει ένα Beth Myriam. Η Αληθινή εν Θεώ Ζωή συνεπως θα διορθώσει αυτή την ανεπάρκεια για καθημερινή σίτιση! Διακανονισμοί ήδη έχουν ξεκινήσει μεταξύ των οργανωτών των Beth Myriam και του Mgr Battikha. Προτού φύγουμε, ο Αρχιμανδρίτης μας προσέφερε μερικά αναψυκτικά και η Βασούλα του ανταπόδωσε την χειρονομία δίνωντας του την ανθολογία των Μηνυμάτων της Ενότητας.

The Syrian organisers had invited us for a meal but Mgr Battikha already had some surprises in store. After leading us through a network of streets, we had the honour and joy of visiting privately two splendid sanctuaries, since it was already quite late.

Saint Elian’s Orthodox Church containing the tomb of the martyr was shown us by Fr Nadim Tamer, who is under the responsibility of Mgr George Abouzakhem of the Greek Orthodox Church. It is the only church – that of his home town – which is dedicated to him. His feast is celebrated on 6 February. In 284, the young Elian belonged to an important family in Homs, his father being the governor’s advisor. Apostasy was rife under the Roman persecutions and people had fallen back into pagan worship. Elian was a committed Christian and refused to make sacrifices to idols. He fasted, visited and brought comfort to people, distributing alms from the superfluity of his paternal home. He had learned and practised medicine and became renowned for it. The doctors in Homes, jealous of the healings he obtained, denounced him to his father as a Christian. His father, because of his social position, had him arrested and exhorted him to sacrifice to idols. But Elain refuses, he is tortured and his father pleads with him. But Elian will not give in. He is finally condemned by his own father to having his hands, feet and head pierced by twelve nails. After performing several miracles subsequently, his relics were transferred in the middle of the fifth century to the place where he was martyred, where a church dedicated to him had been built.

St Mary’s Cathedral at Om al-Zenar contains a rolled up belt of the Virgin Mary’s, discovered in 1852. It had been hidden during the persecutions in a hole made in the altar covered by a stone with the inscription that this church had been built in the year 59. History tells us that Saint Thomas was preaching in India when the Dormition of the Virgin Mary took place. So he asked her for a sign for the benefit of the new disciples, to testify to the Virgin’s Assumption into Heaven. The Blessed Virgin gave him this belt. The belt came back to the east with the apostle’s relics in 394. It was transferred to Homs in 476 then hidden with the relics of St Bassus until they were rediscovered. We were received very cordially by the priest in charge of the sanctuary, Father Silouanos Al Nehmeh of the Syrian Orthodox Church.

After another night walk in the streets of Homs, we returned to the hotel where we dined with our hosts, Mgr Battikha and his vicar, Father Bernard, Father Silouanos, Archimandrite Ibrahimand the two brothers who had invited Vassula to Syria, Hanna and Raymond Egho.

The books vanish in a trice

Thursday 29 April. We left Vassula in the morning; she was to visit the Carmelites near Alep. She went separately with Yolla and our Syrian friends. The rest of the group travelled in a minibus to Alep by way of the ruins of Saint Simeon’s Cathedral and the famous norias (wheels with buckets to scoop up water from a stream for irrigation) in Hama.

We sang and prayed along the way until we stopped in front of the huge wheels at Hama. A deafening noise suddenly hit us: the colossal norias were lifting water from the river to the aqueduct at their summit. This perpetual movement, fed uniquely from the river formerly made the irrigation of the surrounding fields possible.

Our second stop was to visit Saint Simeon’s basilica, Qal’at Sem’an, consecrated in 475. Saint Simeon the Stylite or Simeon the Ancient, born in 386, was attracted to the ascetic life at a very young age.

He found perfection through extreme fasting, which attracted crowds to him. Desiring to retreat from the world, he first found refuge on top of a rocky crag about twenty meters square. This did not put off the crowds who came from far away to consult him. He decided to live on top of a pillar whose height it is said changed with time, being 4 metres high at the outset and ultimately reaching 15 metres. Tradition tells us that it was possible only to either stand or sit on it. The saint preached from this pinnacle twice a day. He died on 2 December 459 after spending 39 years on his column. A martyr’s shrine was set up at the pillar, which became a major place of pilgrimage. What is left of the pillar remains amidst the well preserved ruins of the basilica. With its surface area of 5000 sq m, it is equal in size to Hagia Sophia in Constantinople, despite its rural location. Four basilicas with three naves are built around an octagonal centre to form a Greek cross whose midpoint is slightly off centre, recalling the position of the head of the crucified Christ.

We then returned to Alep where the building regulations specify the use of stone. There are wonderful sculpted facades all along the route back to the hotel. After reuniting with Vassula and our hosts we ate together in the Christian part, in an old house built around a magnificent courtyard that is now a restaurant.

We were to meet later at the Franciscan Latin Church: Father George Abou Zakhm welcomed us on behalf of Mgr Joseph Nazaro, bishop of the local Roman Catholic Church, who was unwell and could not welcome Vassula personally. After Mgr Ferens’ testimony, Vassula talked to 400 people. The audience was captivated by her words and several members of the clergy were also present at the meeting. However, nothing had prepared us for the rush that followed to buy the books, and the sellers were overwhelmed by the demand, and with much jostling and commotion the books were gone in a few minutes!

On the way back we stopped briefly so that Vassula could visit the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan, Paul Yazigi. He was not familiar with the messages but he means to invite Vassula during her next visit to Syria.

That evening we were invited to dine with the families of the Syrian organisers. During the meal we received a call from the Mother Superior of the Carmelites Vassula had visited in the morning. The nuns knew the Messages but still had some unanswered questions, so they were not reading True Life in God. Vassula had replied patiently to their questions while she was witnessing to them. Mother Helen, who is familiar with the Messages and values them highly was calling one of the organisers to say that by God’s grace, after Vasula’s visit the sisters had been convinced and now want to read the Messages.

Friday 30 April. We returned to Homs to attend the Mass celebrated by Mgr Battikha. After Mass, Mgr Ferens witnessed to the importance of the Messages of True Life in God and the urgency of Christian Unity. Then Vassula gave her testimony before a full church of 150 people.

Mgr Battikha invited us to lunch in a splendid restaurant set in a very ancient house built in a square with a typical courtyard in the centre. During the meal Mgr Battikha explained that because of his nationality, he is not allowed to go to the Holy Land. Nevertheless, by God’s grace, he was able to go there once, a few years ago. He made a few purchases of some beautiful medallions of the Church of the Nativity with the Holy Sepulchre with on the back. Because he wished to show his high regard for Vassula and Mgr Ferens he gave them each one of these medallions. Not content with this generous gesture, he gave a gilded plate showing an icon of the Virgin and Child or Christ the Pantocrator to each of the families who were there.

We were sad to part company as we left for Lebanon to return to the Saint Michel Residence, dropping off our translator, Archimandrite Ibrahim en route.

Saturday 1 May. It was time to move to southern Lebanon, which is under United Nations military control. We all left together early in the morning, picking up other Lebanese True Life in God readers who wanted to accompany us on the way. We stopped at the Maghdoucheh shrine we had previously visited on the May 2005 pilgrimage.

Our Lady is invoked here under the Arab title of “Saidet el Mantara”, which means Our Lady of Expectation. Tradition teaches us that the Virgin Mary and the Holy Women waited for Jesus in this place while He was announcing the Gospel in Saida (Sidon), a pagan town where Jewish women could not go. (Mt 15:21-28 and Mk 7:24-31). So Our Lord came through Maghdoucheh on the road from Saida in Galilee via Marjahyoun which was our next stop.

The Virgin Mary is venerated in a natural grotto on top of a long incline from where there is a beautiful view of the Saida sea. It is in this shelter that she waited for Jesus along with the Holy Women. The grotto was discovered accidentally in the 17th century: a lamb had fallen into a hole and its shepherd climbed down to fetch it. He found an ancient altar with a wooden engraving showing Our Lady. So it was a Marian shrine that had been forgotten after the crusades when the numbers of Christians in the area had dwindled. In fact, archaeologists found the remains of a crusaders castle near the grotto: Castel de Franche-Garde, overlooking several valleys and Sidon’s great plain.

Then we set off again towards the south, crossing the military barricade and stopping on the banks of the Litani river for lunch. The Litani (Nahr al-Lytany) is an important river, irrigating the centre of the Bekaa and southern Lebanon. Its 140km course runs entirely in Lebanon, crossing the Bekaa plain before joining the Mediterranean Sea north of Tyre. Its pure water feeds the trout basins where our meal came from.

We arrived in Marjahyoun in the afternoon in time for Vassula’s talk, which took place in a parish hall before an audience of 170 people. We were welcomed very warmly by Metropolitan Georges Haddad and his parishioners. Mgr Ferens began as before with his testimony, followed by Mgr Haddad and then Vassula. Several priests and religious were listening very attentively to what Vassula was saying. Then Mgr Haddad spoke again, confirming many of Vassula’s words. The meeting finished as it had begun with songs from a wonderful choir that had us all enchanting.

After refreshing ourselves, Mgr Haddad showed us his garden with its huge roses. He told us that he personally tended to all the plants there. We saw an olive tree that was over 2000 years old, which was surely already growing when Our Lord passed that way.

That evening there was a strange atmosphere at the hotel because a large part of it had been reserved for a celebration for United Nations soldiers, and the car park was full of the familiar white armoured trucks. We enjoyed a relaxed evening in the company of Mgr Haddad and some members of the clergy, while being regaled by the humour of Mgr Ferens.

Sunday 2 May. We returned to Mgr Haddad who was celebrating Mass in the Catholic Melchite rite in St Peter’s Cathedral and had invited Mgr Ferens to concelebrate. During the celebration Mgr Haddad asked Vassula to witness, which she did after reading the message of ( 10 March 1991) . Afterwards, Vassula received a magnificent icon of Christ Pantocrator from Mgr Haddad.

Our hosts were reluctant to let us go, but it was time for us to make out way to Beirut where Vassula was due to witness that afternoon. This is when we suffered our first setback – our bus broke down in the mountains. There was no way of repairing it because a part of the engine had broken. So we contacted Mgr Haddad, who found us a replacement bus. Meanwhile he brought his car to take Vassula to Beirut, which was still several hours drive away. We had to wait so long that we missed our meal. We had the choice of stopping off to eat or missing the start of the meeting. So the Lebanese organiser came up with another suggestion: to stop on the way to buy bananas instead of a meal, and with one voice we cried out: bananas! We truly finished our journey in the company of the Holy Spirit, with joy, dancing and song.

In spite of heavy traffic, we arrived at the venue, St Elijah’s Church in Antelias, a suburb of Beirut, a good fifteen minutes before the meeting started. After Mgr Ferens spoke, Vassula witnessed to 250 people, followed by a long talk from Mgr Isidore Battikha who had joined us from Syria with Brother Archimandrite Bernard Mansour. The meeting was filmed and transmitted by Télé Lumière. We finished this beautiful meeting with songs from the choir before returning to the Foyer Saint Michel.

A Unity Synod

Monday 3 May. The last day of the mission took us to see Patriarch Cardinal Sfeir. After the usual formalities, Vassula asked His Beatitude this question, ‘What is most important, the calendar, or that we celebrate Easter together?’ cardinal Sfeir finally replied that he agreed with Caridnal Kasper. Vassula gave him the book containing the Messages concerning Unity, and another to the Vice Patriarch, Mgr Roland Abou Jawdeh who was also present at the meeting.

Yola repeated to him her experience of celebrating Easter twice because some of her family are Catholic and others Orthodox. She told him that no justifiable explanation could be given to the children who did not understand this difference. Georges added that the two keys for Unity are Humility and Love and that we absolutely must use them in order to bring it about.

After this we visited the Armenian Catholicos, Aram 1st. We had a very positive meeting with him and there was nothing more to add to the Catholicos’s beautiful words about Unity. He stressed that the Church is One, but we do not live out this Unity in practice. On the contrary, we only show our disunity, which is a scandal. He is very positive on the subject of unification of the date of Easter but he insists that all the churches should be equal so that diversity becomes an asset rather than a cause of division.

After dinner we went to the Télé Lumière studios to record an interview. The journalist had prepared his interview very well: not having heard of True Life in God previously, she had been very touched by the Messages while preparing for the interview.

Afterwards we visited Father Elie Battikha at the Monastery of Saint Saviour, which is a seminary. Father Elie is in charge of the seminaries. We met 10 seminarians, 3 priests and the superior of the Monastery. They showed a lively interest and asked several questions of Vassula. The Superior asked us to send him the complete Messages in French. Meanwhile we gave everyone a copy of the book of Messages on Unity.

That evening, the Canal 4 news mentioned our visit to Cardinal Sfeir, saying ‘His Beatitude, Cardinal Sfeir received Mgr Jeremiah Ferens with Mrs Vassula Ryden who receives messages from the Holy Spirit. They talked about the unification of the dates of Easter and Mrs Ryden gave her book to the Cardinal.’

We had Mgr Roland Abou Jawdeh with us for dinner along with Mgr Moujed Hachem who talked of his experience as the Aposotlic Nuncio in the Persian Gulf and the dangers faced by Eastern Christians, especially in Iraq. Both of them told us about the synod that will take place at the Vatican in October 2010, whose main theme is the unification of the date of Easter in the East.

We wish to thank warmly all the people who welcomed us during this mission and we can only bless God that all the promising signs that we saw and felt, we can bless Him again for having placed in our path members of the clergy who are truly committed, working tirelessly for the Unity that means so much to us.
