Retreat in Austria, May 2012
On May 18th and 19th 2012 a TLIG group of 15 persons met in Axams, Tyrol, in Austria. During their retreat the people meditated on the message that Our Lord gave to Vassula on May 5, 2011. They prayed as God desires that He would increase in their souls "a return of love, a return of faithfulness".
According to a recent report, one priest and TLIG reader has said that amongst
Obstacles to Holiness is the "disregarding of the messages of Our
Lady of Fatima"...Our Lord mentions Fatima in the TLIG messages many times. Jesus says: "...in spite of the multiple intercessions of your Holy Mother and in spite of My Warnings from the time of Fatima to this epoch, none of my warnings have been respected..."
The retreatants recalled the apparitions of Our Lady in Fatima in1917 and specifically when the three children saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right
hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a
loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!'.
So, in obedience to Our Lady’s urgent call for prayer, it is crucial for every
soul who loves God to pray the rosary daily. Our Lady and OurLord ask us numerous times in the TLIG messages to PRAY THE ROSARY EVERY DAY. Moreover, it is an act of sacrifice to accept and offer our daily sufferings to Our Lord for the conversion of poor
On both days of the retreat, a priest from China celebrated the Holy Mass with the group and they also prayed the daily rosary. Some of the people who
took part on this retreat said: “Our meeting was joyful and we decided
to evangelize, spreading the messages of the First Volume and organising Testimony Meetings in our towns. May Our Lord help us so that His little Austrian Vineyard may flourish and grow despite our incredible weakness”
